The rain stayed away most of the morning, but it started to cloud up as Doris and I were out today. Still nice and warm though. We found a piece of flotsom that had been washed up from the other side, it was pretty heavy, but we drag lifted it over the sandy path to the railing at the street. There was not that much garbage this week, so we concentrated on the mugwort, which was pretty easy, since last nights rain had done some prep work for us. At one time I had to hide in a garbage bag, but the cloud burst was short lived. When it began to rain seriously I took a hasty retreat; but Doris kept going for another bag, one hand on the red umbrella. We took a lot out. We added at least 6 bags to the two that I had filled on Friday.
